Our classes run in seasonal sessions of approximately three months
and the prices reflect registration for a full session.
A student’s yoga foundation becomes strong through our systematic
and progressive teaching during the full session.
Where there is both a 12- and 13-week price for a session, the 12-week price is for a
few classes that miss a week due to a weekend workshop when the studio is closed.
We offer a discounted drop-in for students registered in a class for a full session who
wish to do additional classes. See our price FAQs below.
Yes. We believe that the best way for a student’s yoga foundation
to grow and to develop is to attend class consistently with the same teacher.
This allows the teacher to get to know you, your abilities and challenges,
and you will benefit from a progressive, structured learning environment.
Registering for a full session also gives you the lowest price per class,
a discount on any additional drop-ins that you may do during the session,
and access to the early morning Independent Practice.
If attending a full session is truly not possible for you, we do allow drop-ins.
We have a very flexible make-up policy. If you miss one of your classes,
you can make-up that class within the same session and at your level
or a level lower. Ideally, you would attend a class with your own teacher,
but if that’s not possible, you can attend any class that is appropriate
for you. You can also do make-ups in anticipation of missing classes in
the future within the same session.
All classes expire at the end of each session, so make sure you do
your make-ups before the end of the session.
Students are encouraged to make up classes with their regular
teacher. If this is not possible, classes can be made-up with other
teachers in an appropriate level class. All classes must be made
up within the same session.
You can, but you don't have to . When you are doing a make-up class make sure you check in
with the teacher at the beginning of class so they can talk
to you about anything they would need to know about you.
If you have a significant restriction (for example, if you
have a heart condition or you’re pregnant), it is best to let
us know in advance so we can let the teacher know before you attend.
You can register online with a Mastercard or Visa -- just click on
the Schedule tab above, click on the schedule for the current session,
and find the class you want to register in. Or, you can come to the
studio and the teacher will help you register and pay with the same credit cards, cash, or a cheque.
Yes, you can start classes anytime during the session. You
can call us or email us to ask about whether it would be better
to register for a full session or to attend by drop-in
until the end of the session. If you are registering part way
into the session, you can do
make-ups for the classes you’ve missed by doing a couple of
classes a week.
If a student cannot attend any classes due a medical reason, we
will place your remaining classes “on hold” until you are cleared
by your medical professional to return to class. Otherwise, we do
not give refunds.
